So David had his appointment with the base orthopedic on Monday. First off, let me say that I was very impressed with them there!! In fact, since I have to go to an orthopedic for my knee, I have requested the Major that treated David. But anyway, they reset his arm again and put a better cast on it. After the cast was on, they cut it down the sides to allow for swelling. On Monday, the 18th, we go back again for xrays and a permanent cast. He will have to have the cast on for 6 weeks, then go back and have a splint put on for another 4 weeks. So, no football for a while. He will miss playing in his Sophmore year. Here is a pic of him in the new cast from Monday.
Oh, and that is Steve play punching him for a dramatic effect. It was a good pose by both of them! Here are a couple of pix from my team. One is just of David and Alex at home prior to the game. And the other is my team from the 5/2 game. I only had 9 players that day.
