I give up

I do, I just give up.

To top off the "excitement" of last week, my car lost the transmission while I was driving it on Saturday. So Tempe PD showed up, I had to have it towed, and it's going to cost almost $2100. Have no idea really how I am going to pay for it, although Steve said he could. And that is another thing. We got into a huge fight on Sunday that hasn't resolved yet. And I am totally heartbroken about it! So yesterday I only worked about 6 hours because in the morning I had to go get a rental car, at $40 a day before all the other charges! Then I had physical therapy at 430, which I had rescheduled from Friday because I think I had a touch of food poisoning. Then this morning I go into my bank account and that is all screwed up! Two different checks posted twice to my account. Plus I had about $300 on hold that made no sense to me. Well, come to find out the rental car company put a hold on my account and just forgot to tell me! Then I called Midas to see if they had a date for when my car might be done and they said "oh, did you approve the work?" I said "yah! yesterday!!" "oops!" yah, ooops my ass! So now they will have my car until Thursday afternoon at the earliest, which means another $90 for the damn rental car. Which pretty much means I will have NO spending money for Germany now.

On a brighter note, here are a few pix!

A long time

Where do I start? I never posted about David's second game. They won - 24 - 16. However, the game was called with 3 minutes left due to the massive monsoon that hit. Pelted by hail, wind, rain, lightening... horrible! They won their 3rd game 54 - 14. 4th game, yesterday, they got their butt kicked. They lost 8 - 48.

Next in line, my boys are in extremely big trouble. I don't want to say too much on the internet, so if you want more information you can always email me to my gmail. But I will say pictures were received and then sent and I got Phoenix PD involved. So they have no cell phone, no camera, no computer access, and no life.

One more week until my Germany trip! YAY! I am so excited.

I'm trying to think what else but am totally drawing a blank. Oh, and my gmail is mrsspaulding@gmail.com

Germany

Wow! I can't wait! I am so excited! I booked Steve's tickets today. We are on different flights heading over. Kinda sad, but it's okay. Now I don't need to worry about him telling me how the plane works while we are flying! LOL He gets in about 20 minutes before me so it really isn't a big deal. Coming back I connect through Cincinnati and have a 17 hour lay-over. Woo hoo! Maybe I'll get to see my brother. ;) I just found out yesterday that it is a 4 hour commute for him. Sorry Dan!! Then when I was making Steve's reservation the agent reminded me that it will be OKTOBERFEST!!! YAY!! I am so excited!!!!! Can you tell???

David's second game is tomorrow. Luckily it is starting to cool down. I think our high today is only supposed to be 102. I haven't been outside - been very busy today!!

Okay - back to work!!

GO MOUNTAIN POINTE PRIDE!

So yesterday David comes home from practice upset because not only is he not starting the game today but he wouldn't be playing at all. I gave him the pep talk that it was okay because not everyone can play every game. And that it is only the first game of his Freshman year, so it is something to work harder for. AND this way he can watch the game and see what is expected so that he can play better and harder when he does play.
Now to today.... first quarter - PRIDE scores 13 points. David plays for the field goal team. Second quarter - PRIDE is ahead 27 - 0. David plays for the field goal team. Third quarter - PRIDE is ahead 34 - 0. David plays for the field goal team. Fourth quarter and FINAL SCORE - 43 - 0 PRIDE WINS! And David played WIDE RECEIVER and field goal team!!!
Okay, so I am totally exhausted but will write more tomorrow!
